Keep it up!

The entries are rolling in now, with everybody it seems wanting to have a go at the CLIC Sargent 24seven Challenge.

2 more teams and an individual entry in the last week alone.

2009 is looking certain to deliver a cracking event.

Celebrity Endorsement

24seven has a celebrity on board!!!

Michelin starred, TV Chef, Sat Bains has agreed to be involved with 24seven this year. He will be involved in the promotion of the event and will lend his name to endorsements.

He decided to get involved as he is a massive fan of the work that CLIC Sargent do in helping children with cancer and their families.

We are all grateful to Sat for taking the time out of his busy schedule to get involved and we hope he has fun doing so.

Weekends are Great!!!

Another weekend, another team.

We are currently planning to do away with weekdays and make every day a Saturday or a Sunday. That way we will have huge numbers of people taking part in this year's challenge.

Our new team, The Tricky Trio, made up entirely of ladies are in for a great weekend that's for sure.

The First 'Have a Go' event for 24seven

This Sunday we will be doing something we have never done before.

We are giving members of the public the chance to try their hands at a couple of the challenges from last year's 24seven challenge.

This is a first, as we normally like to keep everything a secret until the event. The puzzles on offer will give you a taste of the sort of things you may expect come October, although I can tell you now, they will be different.

We will be at Southwell Rugby club in Nottinghamshire from 9am this Sunday (26th April) if anyone wants to come and have a go.

You will not be disappointed!!!

We've had 2 brand new teams sign up to do the challenge this year. This is fantastic news and we hope that those who have entered enjoy themselves.

The Return of Old Friends

We're delighted to see that past participants Liz Williams, Tom Inchley and Darren Phillips have signed up to take part again.

Liz, who was the top individual fundraiser last year, has decided to challenge herself for a second time and is hoping to improve on her 3rd place finish.

Tom, who won the individual competition in 2008 has teamed up with fellow individual Darren and one other person to form a team - Inch Perfect. One to watch out for we reckon.

Good luck to all of them and hopefully we'll see some more familiar faces soon.
